Jake is a trained wine industry professional with a love for service and professionalism. He studied Viticulture and Oenology at Lincoln University and has worked in both the vineyard and the winery to gaining practical industry experience which compliments his theoretical background. Before his formal wine training he traveled around New Zealand, France and Italy gaining local wine knowledge and experience of some of the finest wines in the world. From his previous experiences in Finance, Information Technologies and Hospitality he has developed a keen understanding of service businesses and fostering positive customer relationships. Jake has a degree in Management and Marketing, a Certificate in Business Systems Analysis and a Graduate Diploma in Viticulture and Oenology. He enjoys continued education in Economics, Physics, Ecology, Environmental Management and Politics as well as Rock Climbing, Running, Photography and Guitar amongst a myriad of hobbies that keep him active and passionate about life.
